East Lothian Council is committed to supporting dignified access to period products in an accessible way. These products are available free at a number of sites in East Lothian, and can be found on the PickUpMyPeriod app available from Google Play and App Store and the council website.
We understand that it is not always possible to be able to pick up what you need. That’s why we are working with Hey Girls to deliver period products straight to your door. We also want to be able to support the use of recyclable, reusable and environmentally-friendly products and are committed to being Carbon Neutral by 2045.
To help us achieve this we have joined up with Hey Girls, a local social enterprise based here in East Lothian, to make this happen. We hope you like these products.

Hey Girls Products
Our disposable products are a super convenient way to manage your period. All of our disposable products are made from environmentally-friendly materials that biodegrade.
Our reusable products – period pants, period cups and reusable pads – can last you up to 10 years; helping you save money and the planet. They are made from
sustainable materials including organic cotton and bamboo.Â
