no matter your background, personal circumstances or gender, we all deserve a better period
Period equality looks different for everyone.
We should be able to access products without barriers or embarrassment. They should be available for free in public spaces and visibly displayed in all washrooms to avoid having to ask for them.
We provide products via our community partners to everyone who needs them – no questions asked.
You do not have to explain your circumstances to be able to access products and we place no restrictions on the frequency or amount you can have.
We encourage our business customers to supply products in all washrooms as an inclusive initiative to ensure dignity for all.
We treat every donated product with the same respect as if it was a purchase, never compromising on product choice or quality of packaging.
When we start normalising conversations about periods, that’s when the shame and stigma is eliminated which is why we include supporting education to ensure everyone feels confident talking about periods.

we believe in a better period for everyone, no matter your personal journey. everybody is welcome at hey girls…
We continue to listen to people from the LGBTQIA+ community to understand the best way to be inclusive and actively encourage organisations to consider their approach to periods and equality as a whole.
We’ve designed our products and packaging to be more inclusive to all, adapting the style of our product range and rebranding our educational resources to be gender neutral and discuss topics that might not be covered as standard in schools.
Hey Girls is a safe space, and we hope everyone knows that they are free to be themselves here.
We also recognise that we, along with the period healthcare industry as a whole, have a vital responsibility and privilege to honour every aspect of our community.
