Fel rhan o gynllun Urddas Mislif Llywodraeth Cymru, mae Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi ymuno â chwmni cynnyrch mislif arobryn Hey Girls, sydd wedi’i leoli yn y DU, i dreialu gwasanaeth newydd i ddarparu cynnyrch mislif am ddim i’r cartref i ddisgyblion ysgolion uwchradd ledled y Sir. Mae hyn yn ychwanegol at y cynhyrchion mislif sydd eisoes ar gael ym mhob ysgol ac mewn gwahanol leoliadau cymunedol ar draws Sir Gaerfyrddin.
Os yw eich plentyn ym mlwyddyn 7 ac 8 mewn ysgol uwchradd yn Sir Gaerfyrddin, gallwch danysgrifio i gael y gwasanaeth newydd hwn a fydd yn darparu cynnyrch tafladwy sy’n gydnaws â’r amgylchedd i’ch drws. Os bydd y cynllun peilot yn llwyddiannus, byddwn yn ceisio ymestyn y gwasanaeth hwn ymhellach.

Free period products for Secondary school pupils in Carmarthenshire
As part of Welsh Government’s Period Dignity scheme, Carmarthenshire County Council has teamed up with award-winning UK-based period product company Hey Girls, to pilot a new service to deliver free, period products to the home for secondary school pupils across the County. This is in addition to the period products already available in all schools and various community locations across Carmarthenshire.
If your child is in year 7 and 8 in a secondary school in Carmarthenshire, you can subscribe to this new service which will provide environmentally disposable products to your door. If the pilot is successful, we will look to extend this service further.
