We’re proud to share that Celia Hodson, Founder of Hey Girls CIC, has been recognised by The Hunter Foundation as one of Scotland’s Changemakers.
The Changemakers campaign shines a light on people using their lived experience and entrepreneurial drive to tackle Scotland’s toughest social issues. These are the people helping to end homelessness, fight poverty, create jobs, and shift the narrative on inequality. Celia stands out in this group for her tireless work to end period poverty. Through Hey Girls, she’s created a sustainable model that not only provides free products to those in need, but also reinvests in communities, supports employment, and drives policy change.
She doesn’t just talk about change. She makes it happen. Read more about Celia’s expertise and the origins of Hey Girls here and take a look at the beautiful storyboard below.
We’re glad to see her efforts recognised in a campaign built to celebrate action, impact, and purpose. Scotland is stronger thanks to people like Celia and the other talented Changemakers involved.
