The energy and utilities sectors remain some of the most male-dominated in the country. But one company leading the charge in creating a diverse and supported workforce is our newest partner, gas distribution company SGN.
The business, operating across Scotland and the south of England, is now stocking our products in washrooms for all its staff as part of its period dignity scheme.
All products purchased through the partnership will be matched through our buy one, donate one model – helping support the one in 10 people across the UK experiencing period poverty.

“The team at SGN are doing fantastic work in making the energy industry more diverse – and making free period products available in washrooms will definitely help on that mission.

Our partnership comes at an exciting time for SGN, as it looks to promote the industry to a more diverse workforce, including providing both support and training on the menopause and its symptoms and side effects.
It is also providing colleagues with our #Pads4Dads materials, helping educate men about periods and breaking the taboo.
