One thing that never stops for Hey Girls is our mission to end period poverty in the UK. What is happening at the moment across the country will undoubtedly increase numbers of those affected by this issue.
We’ve been working behind the scenes with our contacts across the public and private sectors to see how we can continue to support girls and women in schools, colleges, local authorities and the workforce over the coming months.
From these conversations some amazing and innovative initiatives are beginning to take shape.

DELOITE has donated hundreds of reusable cloth pads to go into care packages for vulnerable families in North London, packed by the fantastic Mulberry School for Girls.
ARGYL & BUTE, ANGUS and INVERCLYDE councils are working with us to provide period packs for girls and women in their local authorities while schools, colleges and public spaces remain closed.
FORTH VALLEY COLLEGE and AYRSHIRE COLLEGE are also joining the scheme, offering period packs for their students that will see them through three months of their periods, packs delivered straight to their houses.
