We are pleased to reveal our new period education kit – a comprehensive resource for schools and colleges to teach students all they need to know about period products and help break the taboo.
The kit contains every item from our range of zero-waste reusables and disposables, and is aimed at teaching students and their families about the range of period products available – with reusables proving an ever-popular alternative.

Kate Smith, our Co-Founder, said: “Our new kit is the ultimate resource to teach people about all things periods.
“There is a wide range of products available nowadays and it is important to teach people about the options out there.
“Many of us never had the opportunity to learn about reusables in school and wish we had made the switch sooner – and this kit covers all the bases.
“Everyone’s period is unique, and we hope our kit will help people find the product that’s right for them.”
Items included in the kit range from our day pads and pantyliners through to tampons, a period cup and two pairs of period pants. Refill options are also available.
It also contains numerous educational resources, including our new-look education cards and both the Time of the Month and Pads4Dads booklets.
It is expected the kit will also prove popular for health and community centres offering parenting classes.
Kate added: “It is so important we open up period education not just to people who have periods, but their families too.
“Our Pads4Dads booklet – supported by the fabulous Michael Sheen – gives fathers all they need to know to have ‘the chat’ with their children.
“It is only by opening up the conversation and making period education accessible to all that we can break the taboo.”
Hey Girls has backed a UK parliament petition to make reusable period product education mandatory in all schools. Signatures can be made here.
